Emma jade is a seasoned country music performer, she has been played on stages all over the world since the age of 14. At 12 years old she heard the song ‘You were Mine’ by The Dixie Chicks and a new path was paved for the young country star in the making.
Aged 16 Emma was discovered online by a producer in Nashville, TN and in February 2012 she flew to the states to play her first international show and became the first British artist to be confirmed as a performer at ‘Teen Hoot’, a showcase of teenage artists which went on to house talents from all over the world. Whilst in Nashville her love for country music grew as she watched some of the greatest musicians and producers in the world at work.
By 2013 Emma was offered the opportunity to appear on BBC’s ‘The Voice UK’, she was chosen by Sir Tom Jones to join his team of vocalist and the UK watched as she progressed through the competition, since then over 3M people have watched Emma’s The Voice UK performances on YouTube. Emma’s future was changed and in her career she has done things she never dreamed she could do. In 2016 Emma decided it was time to take time out to find herself and the music she wanted to make. These days her music lie’s solely with the old country stars of the past, her voice tells a story and will break a heart only to heal it again in the next song, take traditional country music, add some old school rock n roll and sprinkle in some 70’s Americana inspiration and you have Emma’s sound.
Her debut EP ‘Older Now’ was released in July 2018 and has been awarded the Belles and Gals award for EP of the year, in 2019 Emma Jade performed at Buckle and Boots festival, Fsa festival and has been confirmed to support Ags Connolly in 2020.
