SARAH JORY

Sarah Jory, voted The World’s Number One Female Pedal Steel Guitarist, in 2018, celebrates her 40th year in the music business! During that time, Sarah and her band have played most of the country music festivals in the UK and Europe and won numerous awards, including: Gram Parsons Award for European Entertainer of The Year, for nine consecutive years, BCMA Female Vocalist of The Year, for nine consecutive years, European Guitar Hall Of Fame, Texas Guitar Hall Of Fame, BCMA Hall Of Fame and over 200 club and festival awards.

Sarah played for Sir Van Morrison, for over six years and has an enviable list of artists and bands she has played for, including Imelda May, Duane Eddy, Cyndi Lauper, Eric Clapton, Gene Watson, Kenny Rogers, Daniel O’ Donnell, Lisa McHugh, Elkie Brooks and the late Glen Campbell. Although Sarah’s main instrument is the Pedal Steel Guitar, she is a very accomplished player of the slide guitar, banjo, dobro, mandolin, acoustic guitar and ukulele.
